1. What We Check
- Names of apps, companies, departments, schemes and officials;
- Fees, dates, deadlines, eligibility rules and required documents;
- Step-by-step procedures, menu paths and official website addresses;
- App features, prices, permissions and version details;
- Statistics, specifications and quotes.
2. How We Check
- Primary sources first: official government portals and notifications, official app store pages and developer documentation.
- Hands-on testing: we install and use apps and follow online procedures where practical, using our own screenshots.
- Cross-verification: important claims are confirmed with at least two reliable sources when no single official source exists.
- Link safety: we check that links lead to official, safe destinations — especially for government services and downloads.
- Editorial review: an editor questions any unsupported claim before publishing.
3. Preferred Sources
Official government and regulatory bodies; official company/developer sources; recognised research; established news organisations. We avoid unverified social-media posts, forwarded messages and anonymous claims.
4. Developing Stories
When information is not yet official, we label it “expected”, “reported” or “unconfirmed” and update the article once official details are available.
5. Ongoing Checks
Published guides are re-checked periodically and updated when procedures, fees or app interfaces change.
6. Report an Error
Email mail@drivekerala.com with the article link, what is wrong and a source if possible. We handle reports under our Corrections Policy.
