Kuwait Municipality announced on Monday that it has officially handed over the site of the first integrated residential city project for low-income workers to an investment company. The 40,000 square meter complex can accommodate 3,000 workers and consists of 16 residential complexes with bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms and laundry rooms on all floors.

The project will include two commercial complexes containing restaurants, cafes and shops, administrative and government buildings, as well as facilities such as a police station and a mosque. Kuwait Municipality Representative Mishal Al Arada handed over the project to be implemented within one and a half years after signing the contract.
