How do pilots navigate airplanes?

This post covers how an aircraft pilot navigates. Normally when we go somewhere we take our vehicle and go to that one route. Sometimes that one route may or may not be known to us. If it is an unknown route, sometimes deviations boards are placed on the roads. Or we will have GPS systems in our vehicle.

Now all the vehicles are equipped with GPS system. Then we will travel accordingly. But the way the aircraft travels is that the aircraft is always captained and used air wise. Captaincy uses a path called airwise to fly. Each of these paths consists of waypoints. Now let’s understand what are waypoints.

Each point is connected and the flight is flown through this one airway. Then all these airways are already designed. That means all these airways are designed with the help of GPS. All these waypoints are designed with geographic coordinates and not just GPS. There will be international waypoints during such international flight hours.

If it is domestic, there will be waypoints for it. Then when the captains report to this one flight they get a document called the flight plan. In this document they will have designed the route to go. For more information on this type of information, watch the full video.
